Fall Session early reservations are being accepted now through June 19th!

Deposits to reserve a space for the Fall Session are being accepted now through June 19th. A deposit of $50 per family will hold your spot. More information, including the reservation form that you will need to send in with your payment, is available on the Fall 2009 Program page.

We are developing an exciting program for the Fall Session, including new classes for 4-to-5-year olds. We will share more details soon.

Full registration opens August 1st.

Who we are

The Community Co-op for Near West Homeschoolers is a not-for-profit offering enrichment classes for homeschooling families in Chicago's near west suburbs. Once a week, we get together for a day of friends, fun and learning.

We meet on Thursdays at the Parkview Presbyterian Church, located at Oak Park Avenue & Jackson Boulevard in Oak Park, IL, September through May.

Our mission is to create an environment for educational enrichment where homeschooling families can work co-operatively in an atmosphere of mutual respect, organized structure with flexibility, and interest-driven exploration.

My kids love co-op!! Every Thursday evening, my son starts counting down the days until the next Thursday because he can't wait until it's time for co-op again. But he's not the only one who loves going, I enjoy co-op as well! As a new homeschooler, I felt really overwhelmed and didn't really know where to start. Joining the co-op, and meeting other homeschoolers, has really helped build my confidence and keeps me motivated in my own homeschooling journey! -a mom
